Purchasing & Shipping
Thank you for considering a piece of my work for your home or as a gift. Below is everything you need to know about buying an original painting or print, and how it will reach you.
Ordering
Original paintings and prints can be purchased directly through the shop on this website.
Payments are taken securely through PayPal or Stripe, so you can pay by card or PayPal balance without needing an account.
If you'd like to pay by bank transfer instead (to avoid card processing fees), just get in touch at joyfoulds@icloud.comand I'll arrange this with you directly.
If you have a question about a piece before buying — size in a room, colours, availability as a print — please ask. I'm always happy to send extra photos or a quick video.
Shipping
All work is shipped from Loughborough, Leicestershire within the UK.
Timeframes
Original paintings: dispatched within 5 working days of order/payment clearing.
Prints: made to order and dispatched within 10 working days
If a piece is needed by a particular date (a gift, an event), let me know when ordering and I'll do my best to accommodate this.
How it's sent
Smaller and standard-sized work is sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery or equivalent, tracked and signed for.
Larger or higher-value original paintings are sent via a specialist art courier, boxed and padded to protect the piece in transit. I'll confirm the courier and tracking details once dispatched.
Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on the size of the piece and your delivery address.
If you are local to me you're welcome to collect in person — just select this option at checkout / mention it when ordering.
Packaging
Original paintings are protected with corner guards and bubble wrap, and boxed in sturdy cardboard.
Prints are shipped flat or rolled in a rigid postal tube depending on size.
International shipping
I'm happy to ship worldwide at my discretion. Overseas shipping costs are calculated at checkout for prints and smaller work; for larger original paintings, please get in touch for an individual quote, as these need specialist courier arrangements.
Delivery timeframes for overseas orders are longer than UK delivery, typically 2-4 weeks depending on destination and customs processing.
Please note: any import duties, customs charges, or local taxes applied by your country are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the price or shipping cost. I'm not able to predict what these will be, as they vary by country.

Returns
I want you to be completely happy with your painting. If you are in the UK and an original arrives and isn't right for you, please get in touch within 14 days of receiving it to arrange a return.
The piece must be returned in its original condition and packaging where possible; return postage is the buyer's responsibility, and a refund will be issued once the piece is safely received back.
Because prints are made to order, they can only be returned if they arrive damaged or faulty.
If your piece arrives damaged in transit, please email photos of the damage and packaging to joyfouldsart@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery, and I'll arrange a replacement or refund.
International orders: because of the cost and complexity of return shipping overseas, I'm unable to offer returns or refunds on international orders unless the piece arrives damaged or faulty — please choose carefully, and do ask questions before ordering if you're unsure.
